The Doors still hitting headlines in 2010!
The late singer of the Doors was convicted of exposing himself to a Miami concert audience in 1969.
But his surviving band mates have denied he did this, and fans' memories are mixed.
The Doors singer died in Paris in 1971, aged 27, before he could serve a jail sentence.
"Nobody would like to have that charge hanging over their head, even if they are dead," Doors guitarist Robby Krieger told the Associated Press news agency.
"I'm sure his family would be happy to see that go, especially since it never happened."
On the night of the March 1969 show in Miami, Morrison was so drunk that his band mates questioned whether he would be able to perform.
The singer was abusive to the audience, and he stopped in the middle of the show to issue a profanity-laced, anti-authority rant, then tossed a police officer's cap into the crowd. At one point, a live lamb was brought on stage.
Morrison then fiddled with his belt as if to expose himself, at which point recollections diverge.
Governor Charlie Crist and other members of the Florida executive clemency board, composed of members of the governor's cabinet, voted on the pardon at their last meeting before he leaves office next month.
Mr Crist is reported to have doubts about whether Morrison committed the crime, and has been considering a pardon since 2007 following urging by fans.
"It never actually happened, it was mass hypnosis," he said.
"He was just doing a mind trip - as they would say - a mind trip on the audience and they totally fell for it."

- These two each invested $300 to get the record company started
- It is owned by Warner Music Group, a member of the big four record label company's.
- In 2004 it was consolidated into WMG's Atlantic Records Group
- Atlantic Records distribute in America, while Warner Music Group distribute internationally, so they cover a huge population with their items
- In the 1990s Eleketra saw a slump in revenue, while underperforming on the charts
- In 2004 the new owners of WMG decided to merge Elektra and Atlantic Records, which got the name Atlantic Records Group, as Elektra was the under-performer of the two
- In 2009 it was then revived and is now celebrating its 60th anniversary

JB - PreNarrative to music videos
This is where in the opening to the music video, something happens that can often relate to the song, but it happens before the song is actually being played.
Examples of this is Smash Mouth - All Star where they are choosing one superhero to star in their video, but in the format as though this is actually taking place on the same day that the video is. In the prenarrative section to the music video Ben Stiller is actually in it.
Another example is Guns n Roses - Welcome to the Jungle where a bus pulls up by the main protagonist, which links to the song but is not actually part of the narrative, as it just sets the scene of the video. It could signify that the jungle is the city we live in, rather than the jungle as the tropics we know of.
Our idea to include this is where the car pulls up to the hotel and the guy gets out, which is when the narrative actually starts. We are doing this to include some diegetic sound in the video but also so the audience has the chance to see the place in which the song is going to be set.

A performance music video includes part or all of the band / individual performing the song the whole time. This can take place on a stage, or in a room on their own where it is clear no audience is involved.
This originated from rock bands who included performance in nearly all of their videos in the early days of music videos, rather than other genres of music.
An example of this is Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit
Concept
A concept video is where the video has no relation to the lyrics and no performance. Concept often includes either the vocalist in the band whose video is being produced, or a completely unknown figure.
Concept videos are often though of to be quirky and often 'wierd' for example The Pixies - Velouria is just a video of the band running over some rocks for 30 seconds, which then gets edited and slowed down to cover the whole of the song.
